An AI image editor where the result is a layer, not a flat file
Keep AI results separate from the original and refine them with layers and masks. PhotoVim combines browser-based manual editing with AI generation; check model costs and output quality before committing to a result.
AI edits you can keep editing
Remove an object, replace a background, or generate a fill — the result arrives as a new layer with a layer mask. Lower its opacity, paint on the mask to bring detail back, blend it with the picture below, or delete the layer and try again. Your original stays untouched until you merge it yourself.
A real editor underneath
Work with layers, groups, blend modes, masks, adjustment layers, paths and text. Import and export PSD files, checking unsupported features and fonts. PDF pages are imported as rendered images, not editable PDF layers.
Familiar hands, familiar shortcuts
The toolbar, panels, and keyboard shortcuts follow current Photoshop conventions — V moves, B paints, Ctrl+T transforms, Alt samples color. If your hands know Photoshop, they already know PhotoVim.
Use credits, or bring your own key
AI generation runs on credits. Enter your own API key instead and you skip credits entirely, billed by that provider at their rates. Check the selected model and the cost shown before you run it.
